I've recently become convinced that spammers are hacking into mail servers and other databases. I'm getting spam with extremely relevant subjects and names of people I know. Today sold me. I checked my mail and had spam with 2 names, one a relative and one a friend of a friend, that are extremely rare. One is hard to spell, but they nailed it. The friend of a friend, I don't actually correspond with, but I subscribe to his blog and have never seen the name elsewhere. Perhaps an infiltration of Bloglines? It's amazing to me because I really only use 2 email accounts. One is managed by a company that Yahoo bought and they are militant spam fighters. The other is my own domain, I guess the hosting company could be leaking something?
